Attendees agreed on the importance of media in promoting tourism, saying that Quang Ninh tourism is integrated to the growth of national tourism. They suggested enhancing connectivity, diversifying the forms of media, and creating links between online newspapers and social networks in different languages to attract more foreign visitors.   Pham Ngoc Thuy, director of the Quang Ninh Tourism Department said: “All related agencies have advised the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee to work out multiple plans for National Tourism Year, particularly a plan to expand the role of media. All promotional images and information about National Tourism Year 2018 have now been uploaded. We hope the media will now spread this information to the world.”
