(VOVworld) - The Prime Minister has approved a national target program on HIV/AIDS prevention and control in the 2012-2015 period, with a total funding of more than 175 million USD. The program aims to keep HIV infection rates below 0.3 percent and minimize the deadly disease’s impact on socio-economic development. The program is expected to contribute to the success of the National Strategy on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control by 2020 and Vision to 2030. Its focus is on information dissemination, HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, and capacity building for HIV/AIDS prevention and control centers.
