Quang Binh cleans up after storm Wutip

(VOVworld) – Le Hong Anh, Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on Sunday inspected recovery efforts in the central province of Quang Binh, which was hardest hit by Wutip and Nari storms. Anh and his delegation visited Viet Trung farm, where more than 2,000 rubber trees fell down. Politburo member Le Hong Anh said: “How to deal with the fallen trees? How to process the wood and maintain the current prices? We should take both into consideration. Leaders need to help in recover efforts to share losses with locals. The district should revise its plans so as to ensure sustainable development of the central region in general and improve locals’ living standards”.

On Saturday, the delegation worked with leaders of Quang Tri province. Politburo member Le Hong Anh asked the province to implement well the master plan for the arrangement of residential areas, crops and animal husbandry as well as build a strategy to cope with disasters.
