(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on Thursday signed a Decision on operations in border areas which apply to international and national border gates. The decision will take effect on October 1^st, 2013. According to the decision, the Management Board of Border gates will collaborate with related agencies in neighboring countries to conduct periodic or random inspections.

Both sides will exchange ideas for unifying border procedures and management for the timely resolving of arising problems in goods transportation, importation, and immigration at the border gates. The decision ensures that domestic and foreign agencies comply with international law and all agreements which Vietnam and bordering countries have signed.
