Quang Binh Cave Festival 2019 opens
(VOVWORLD) -Quang Binh Cave Festival 2019 themed ‘Quang Binh – endless mysteries’ officially opened to the public on Saturday night, featuring a wide range of tourism, cultural, and art activities for guests to enjoy.

This year’s festival will run for one month, longer than usual in order to tempt visitors to a wide range of exciting street activities, art programs, and tours, including helicopter tours to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park, Dong Hoi City Tour, and Ozo Treetop Theme Park. Ho An Phong, director of the provincial Department of Tourism, said: “We want to introduce tourists and the wider public the mysteries of caves, which are endless. Quang Binh is like a sleeping fairy who needs be fully woken up. So we will create the best conditions for investors to create products that meet the increasing demands of tourists.”
Quang Binh has developed three types of tourism products including cultural and historical tourism, sea tourism, and eco-tourism. Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park has developed into a key tourism venue after receiving recognition as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Quang Binh is dubbed the "Kingdom of caves", with Son Doong cave being accredited as the world’s largest and most beautiful natural cave by the World Records Union and the World Records Association.
