Safe Vietnam Travel program reviewed
(VOVWORLD) - Promising results have been achieved in just 3 weeks by a program to promote Vietnam as a safe and attractive destination, said the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism at a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Effective tourism stimulation coalitions have been established, including a coalition between the Departments of Tourism and the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 7 provinces and cities and a cooperation agreement between Nghe An, Hai Phong, and Binh Dinh province.
Travel businesses have resumed their operation and have offered attractive incentive packages, including rental and flight ticket discounts. The aviation and railway sectors are on their way to recovery. Their growth rate is up 12% from last year. Passengers using Noi Bai International Airport increased 15%.
The Vietnam Administration of Tourism launched a mobile application called "Vietnam safe tourism" last Saturday, to help keep travelers safe while traveling around Vietnam.
