(VOVworld) – This year’s summer voluntary campaign has been launched in Hanoi with nearly 1,000 young people and students participating.

After the launching ceremony on Sunday, 5 central level voluntary groups will begin their tasks. 3,000 other volunteers will take part in their work in the capital’s districts and hamlets including environmental protection, summer teaching campaigns, agricultural technology transfer and building charity houses. Some volunteers even go to mountainous and remote areas like Lang Son, Ha Giang, Bac Kan and Quang Binh for their voluntary work. Mai Tam is a student from Department of Journalism of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: "These voluntary trips will give me an opportunity to exchange with many friends and enrich my knowledge for the future work. Every volunteer is very enthusiastic. I always feels excited and eager to take part in each voluntary trip".
