(VOVwordl) - The Women’s Union and The Ministry of Planning and Investment on Friday held a consultative workshop on gender targets in the agenda for sustainable development by 2030. 

The President of the Women’s Union, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha praised the Party and State’s interest in caring for gender equality targets and women advancement to serve national development. The UN permanent coordinator in Vietnam, Pratibha Mehta, said the UN is holding talks with the Vietnamese government on gender issues as a prior part of Vietnam’s development plan over the next 5 years.
