 The “Lights off” ceremony took place at August Revolution Square in Hanoi from 20:30 – 21:30. The campaign included an exchange with the campaign’s ambassadors and education on efficient energy saving as well as a green creativity contest for students’ videos and short clips on the environment. This is the 10^th year Vietnam joined the campaign to raise public awareness on the environment and climate change response. Nguyen Hoang Anh from Hanoi is a campaign participant: “I have joined the Earth Hour Campaign for 4 years. This is a  significant movement to protect the environment. If each household turns off one light, the whole country could save a lot of energy.”
