Vietnam enhances cooperation with Interpol to fight transnational crime

(VOVworld) – Vietnam and the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) have agreed to work more closely and exchange information on transnational crimes and foreigner-related crimes during a visit to Interpol's headquarters in France by Deputy Minister of Public Security Nguyen Van Thanh.

Interpol also pledged to help improve the capacity for Vietnam’s law enforcement forces. This was the first official visit by a leader of the Ministry of Public Security since Vietnam joined Interpol in 1991.
