(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) has allocated 14 billion VND (600,000 USD) for lunar New Year gifts for disadvantaged people.

At an online conference on Thursday, VFF President Tran Thanh Man asked its affiliates to ensure the distribution of Tet gifts to poor and beneficiary families. He also called for efforts to encourage vigilance against the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year’s new lunar year will begin on February 12.
