(VOVworld) – Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh has said that Vietnam’s efforts to improve the investment environment have been recognized by foreign investors. During the program “People ask, ministers answer” on Saturday, Minister Vinh said that there has been a sharp increase in the number and value of foreign investment projects in Vietnam.

Concerning the issue of merger and acquisition and public-private partnership, Minister Vinh said: “We will include the issue of merger and acquisition in the revised Investment Law, particularly when we are accelerating the equitization of state-owned enterprises and restructuring our economy. We are drafting a decree on public-private partnership with the consultations of many international and national organizations. The decree will be issued this year to help attract more investors to Vietnam.”
