(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a seminar Wednesday on building an incorruptible business environment in Vietnam.

Participants said transparency and accountability will help businesses increase profit, attract clients, reduce production costs, minimize risks, and protect its prestige. They agreed that fighting corruption requires the involvement of many sectors including businesses. Nguyen Thi Kieu Vien, Director of Transparency Interantional in Vietnam, said: “The role of businesses in promoting incorruptibility has been enhanced legally and practically. Businesses, contractors, and partners should work for a transparent and healthy environment to prevent or wipe out corruption.”
