Vietnam reports 30 million online transactions a day
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has a daily average of around 30 million online transactions, according to statistics from VisaNet, the electronic payments network of Visa, the world’s leader in digital payments.
Retail businesses are encouraged to switch to online operations and digital transactions as the COVID-19 pandemic is still raging worldwide.
Earlier, data from the State Bank of Vietnam’s Payment Department showed there were around 15 million users of Internet banking and mobile banking services a month, as the government took social distancing measures to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus in April.
