Vietnam seeks to enhance competitiveness, inclusive growth
(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese government has pledged to work closely with the business community and both domestic and foreign experts to lift hurdles for enterprises, complete legal frameworks, create new mechanisms, and outline essential action plans.

Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue made the statement at Friday’s workshop in Hanoi on competitiveness improvement and inclusive development in the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Mr. Hue said Vietnam will boost the formation of startup ecosystems based on science and technology and promote corporate social responsibility. The country will also encourage enterprises to participate in social areas on the basis of interest balance among the State, businesses, and people.
Participants also discussed Vietnam’s prospects of competitiveness and inclusive growth, and measurement of social impacts.
The conference is part of a cooperation agreement between the Vietnamese government and the World Economic Forum.
