(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Social Security department now provides level-4 public services online in all social insurance sectors. Fee payment and return of results can be done online, in person, or by post.

Services on the Vietnam Social Security web portal at https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn and via 11 electronic transaction declaration providers for social insurance have saved people a lot of time and money. In 2020 alone, 81 million cases were resolved online, mostly involving reissuing cards, paying fees, or seeking COVID-19 support.
Nguyen The Manh, General Director of Vietnam Social Security, said, “Vietnam Social Security has made a giant leap in using technology so that all people get full benefits from social insurance and health insurance. Responsible for rolling out core social security policies and promoting administrative reforms, we will work closely with ministries, sectors, and localities, to effectively implement policies in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.”
All level-4 services of Vietnam Social Security will also be available on the national public service portal in the first quarter of 2021.
