Minister Nha made the statement at Saturday’s conference in Hanoi on the development of science and technology in higher education facilities from now until 2025.
Mr. Nha stressed the need to invest in scientific research to build reputation, improve training quality, and attract more talented professors.
Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh proposed three groups of measures to improve the efficiency of science and technology activities at tertiary facilities: policy, investment in infrastructure, and cooperation.
Minister Ngoc Anh also underlined the need to increase the involvement of all social sectors in scientific research.

At the meeting the two ministries signed a joint coordination program until 2025.
