Vietnamese businesses ready to enter markets in the Eurasian Economic Union
(VOVworld) – A seminar opened in Hanoi on Tuesday to discuss the Vietnam-Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement and its impact on business.
Delegates said that Vietnamese businesses will face many challenges when tariff barriers are removed because of their smaller scale plus their financial and technological limitations. Dao Thu Huong, an official from the Finance Ministry, said: “Businesses should learn about the benefits that the FTA might bring about. This will help them design appropriate production strategies to enter new markets. We will continue to provide them with information about the benefits and open market possibilities of the deal.”
