France is Vietnam’s important partner in pharmaceuticals, transport facilities, cosmetics, and agriculture. Last year France’s exports to Vietnam surged 72.5% compared to in 2014 which saw 34%-increase of Vietnam’s exports to France. Vietnam mainly ships to France rice, tea, and coffee. French businesses show their interest in Vietnam’s industry, infrastructure, and energy. Vietnam’s major groups, such as Veolia, Vinci, and Alstom, have already opened representative offices or branches in Vietnam.
According to Counsellor Anh, a seminar called “Vietnam, a new Asian dragon” will take place in France on Friday, a round-table discussion to promote Vietnamese farm produce. It aims to refurbish both sides’ enterprises on marketplace potential, business customs, and measures to tighten business links.
