(VOVworld) - Chairman of the Association of Thai ICT Industry, Bunrak Saraggananda, has been elected new President of the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) at the Vietnam - ASOCIO ICT Summit 2014 that opened Thursday in Hanoi.

In an interview granted to VOV, Saraggananda hailed Vietnam’s successful organization of the event. He said:  "I think the event is successful as you can engage the youth, businesses, the government, and the public sector, not only the organizers of ICT events among our members. It’s very important that you have the engagement of the youth because you know ICT is a driving force to develop the economy of each country."
