Addressing the hand-over ceremony, Acting Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long acknowledged and praised the Group's assistance, saying that in a short period time, Vingroup has coordinated with world’s leading experts to produce non-invasive Vsmart-310 ventilators. However, the function of this type of ventilator is not supportive when a patient is in a critical stage.
Just two weeks later, Vingroup improved its entire manufacturing process, especially technical features, to produce the VFS-410 ventilator and later the VFS-510. The newly-developed ventilators have been tested in the Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Bach Mai Hospital, and Cho Ray Hospital and met rigorous treatment standards.
Previously, Vingroup assisted the health sector in purchasing machinery, biological products and ventilators worth 4.3 million USD to fight COVID-19.
