(VOVworld) – Yen Tu spring festival opened on Saturday in Thuong Yen Cong commune, Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province.

Thousands of visitors and pilgrims stream into Yen Tu in spring

This year, the festival will offer visitors  with new activities and services such as watching the natural beauty of Yen Tu mountain from a balloon and witnessing Vietnam’s biggest Buddhism flag. Two Buddhism flags with 25.58 meters in length are hung on 200 meter high mountains, creating an imposing impression to the pilgrims in the Buddhist land. The festival also includes folk games, human chess and music performances.
