(VOVWORLD) - The first-ever pink lily flowers week will be held in Chau Thanh town, Soc Trang province, over the next four days. This event will showcase the beauty of pink lily flowers while promoting local tourism.

Pink lily flowers, also known as pink bell flowers, originated in the Americas. They bloom in clusters of 4 to 7 and display a stunning purple-pink hue each March.
In Soc Trang these flowers line the road leading to the Chau Thanh district administrative area, creating a picturesque panorama. Hung Vuong street has been landscaped to enhance the experience for tourists.
Chau Thi Ngoc Mai, a local resident, said: "The flowers are in full bloom, and the colors are breathtaking. Since my house is nearby, I come here every year to take photos with my friends."
The 2025 Pink Lily Flower Week features photos and videos showcasing the flowers, publications, tourism products, local crafts, regional specialties, and guided tours of nearby attractions.
Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, a visitor from Tien Giang province, said: "I just visited the lily flower street. It was beyond my imagination, absolutely wonderful!"
The festival includes a Vietnamese Goods Fair as well as cultural performances, traditional folk games, and sports activities.
A highlight of the event is a presentation of Khmer cultural traditions, Rom Vong dancing, and demonstrations of flat rice making.
