(VOVworld) – 100 outstanding blood donors of 2015 across Vietnam were honored at a ceremony in Hanoi on Sunday.

Over one million blood units were donated last year.Tran Nguyen Hoa from Ho Chi Minh City has donated his blood 74 times:“My wish is to do something meaningful to society. I feel happy to think that my blood will be used for the right purposes, for those in need.”

Addressing the event, Nguyen Thien Nhan, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, asked the mass media to continue promoting the voluntary blood donation drive.
