(VOVworld) - Some 10,000 branches of cherry blossoms will go on display on March 19-20 at the statue of King Ly Thai To, in Hanoi as part of activities to mark the 43rd anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Japan.

The information was unveiled yesterday at a press conference by leaders of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports. A wide variety of cultural activities are planned in connection with the event including Japanese art of flower arrangement, Japanese film screening, martial arts and dragon dance performances.
