(VOVworld) - Just over 100,000 people have fully enrolled in Obamacare and selected a health insurance plan, accounting for only 25% of the White House’s set target of 450,000 enrollees in October, according to US Department of Health and Human Services’ report on Wednesday. Only 27,000 people successfully registered on the widely criticized website HealthCare.Gov while the remaining 80,000 applications were made on websites of 14 states and in the capital Washington DC. The White House says technical experts are working day and night to solve the problems and the Obama administration has pledged that the website will run smoothly by the end of this month to receive application forms until the end of next March.

Republicans continue to criticize this disputed Healthcare Act amid initial difficulties in its implementation process. House Speaker John Boehner told the press the same day that the low number of registrations for the Obama administration’s healthcare reform program was evidence of its failure.
