VOV Deputy Director General Vu Hai (C)addresses the media conference in Hanoi

(VOVworld) - Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Hanoi Radio and Television Station are jointly holding the 10^th National Radio Festival in Hanoi from this Tuesday to Friday. This was announced at a press conference in Hanoi’s National Radio Broadcasting Center in Hanoi. The organizers said they selected 193 out of 263 works from 79 submissions vying for a place in the final round. The works must reflect the country’s reforms in the fields of either politics, economy, culture, society, national security, domestic and foreign policy, and how the country should integrate into the world. Apart from presenting Gold, Silver, Bronze awards and certificates of merit, this year, VOV will evaluate works on traffic safety, electricity and safety, workers and the workers’ union, and the fight against crime, especially drugs.

Workshops on radio broadcasting and multimedia communications; the music on the radio in the 21^st century and an exhibition of the technological achievements will also take place during the 10^th National Radio Festival.
