(VOVworld) – The 2012 National Press Awards on Sunday selected 117 most outstanding works, including 5 A prizes, 28 B prizes, and 45 C prizes, from 160 entries of the final round.

According to the jury, press works competing in this 7^th event were of high quality covering rich topics, and demonstrate journalists’ research skills, reducing the gap between central and local media. Notably, radio programs made a big leap forward and the online newspapers participated for the first time. Many entries unearthed weighty issues, had social influence, and displayed a professional integrity and skills. Organizers will present the awards on the 88^th Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day on June 21^st.
