12,000 patients recover from COVID-19 on Wednesday
(VOVWORLD) - From 5pm on Tuesday to 5pm on Wednesday, Vietnam recorded 11,919 more recoveries from COVID-19, while the daily caseload reached 11,527.

2 cases were imported and 11,525 were locally-transmitted in 35 provinces and cities. Three localities with the highest number of cases remained Ho Chi Minh City with 5,435 cases, Binh Duong 4,179 cases, and Dong Nai with 930 cases.
Since the onset of the epidemic, Vietnam has confirmed a total of 718,963 infections, ranking 46 out of 222 countries and territories. By the ratio of infections per 1 million people, Vietnam ranked 155 of 222 countries and territories (on average, there are 7,306 infections for every 1 million people). The total number of cured cases has reached 487,262.
On Wednesday, Vietnam recorded 236 deaths, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll so far to 17,781.
