(VOVworld) - The 14th ASEAN-India senior officials meeting began in Phnompenh, Cambodia, on Sunday to review the progress of ASEAN- India cooperation and its future direction. Delegates discussed the India-Myanmar-Laos-Vietnam-Cambodia highway and an extension of the India-Myanmar-Thailand highway to Laos and Cambodia. The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the action plan of the ASEAN-India partnership for peace, progress and shared prosperity (2010-2015) and the ASEAN-India Free Trade Area. The meeting is a preparation for the 45th ASEAN Foreign Ministers meeting, the Post Ministerial Conferences, the 19th ASEAN Regional Forum, the Asia Foreign Ministers meeting, and the 10th ASEAN-India Summit, which will be held in November in Phnom Penh.
