Doan Bac Viet representing Hai Duong province said, “This tenure promulgated many laws and codes which are in line with the national practical development and helped remove bottlenecks on time. The resolution to settle bad debts of credit institutions is a case in point. Another example is the ratification of new-generation Free Trade Agreements which have created impetus for the country’s international integration.”
The NA’s external work has played a significant part in the success of external affairs of the Party and the State, protecting and promoting Vietnam’s strategic interests in security and development. The Vietnamese legislative body has contributed many important initiatives to global and regional inter-parliamentary forums, thus maintaining peace, and stability and increasing dialogue and cooperation.
Nguyen Quoc Binh, a deputy of Hanoi, said, “To successfully implement the National Party Congress Resolution, it requires the Government and the entire political system to have a breakthrough development policy.
According to Binh, “This can be feasible if we have correct and timely policies to develop a circular economy, a digital economy and a sharing economy. To that end, the National Assembly should increase the oversight of the promulgation and enforcement of policies.”
Participants said they believed the NA will soon speed up an e-government and a digital government to develop a more effective working platform in the future.
