14th NA Standing Committee discusses revised law on technology transfer

(VOVworld) – The 14^th National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the law on amendments and supplements to some articles of the law regarding technology transfer on Tuesday at its ongoing 3^rd session. 16 of 61 articles in the 2006 law on technology transfer will be amended.

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said: “We should promote the effectiveness and correct the shortcomings of the law on technology transfer after 10 years of enforcement to make it adequate to Vietnam’s modern development era. I welcome the idea of tightening the state management of technology.”

In the afternoon, committee members commented on the draft resolution on regulations on making, verifying and submitting to the National Assembly the State budget estimates, central budget allocation plans and for approval of the State budget balance.
