(VOVworld) – The Central Theoretical Council opened its 14^th session in Hanoi on Friday to review the council’s performance in 2014 and set tasks for this year. In his opening speech, Dinh The Huynh, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Education and Communications, asked participants to focus their discussions on the council’s achievements and weaknesses in the past year. He called on the council members to do their best to complete a report reviewing the theoretical and practical issues in Vietnam’s 30 years of renewal process to contribute to a draft document to be submitted to the 12^th National Party Congress. The council will also focus on speeding up the implementation of projects at the state level on “scientific political theoretical research for the period 2011-2015”.
