(VOVworld)- A Golden Lotus Award was granted to the cartoon Golden Cow, the science film Secrets from Statues of Buddha, the documentary There is a missed opportunity, the video The partner, and the feature films The legend makers and Scandal- Red carpet secret. Ngo Phuong Lan, head of the Cinema Department, said:The number of films which participated in this year’s festival surpassed previous festivals, including feature films, documentary films, science films and cartoons. More than 1000 delegates around the country attended this event. The 18th Vietnamese Film Festival has been a success in terms of the quantity of films and the enthusiasm of the artists, film directors, and film producers.

The 18th Vietnamese Film Festival drew 44 film companies and 139 films. Festival activities included an exhibition called“ Film and Quang Ninh”, a conference titled “ Quang Ninh and tourism advertising through film”, a workshop on film production and distribution, and an exchange between Vietnamese actors and audiences.
