Earlier, deputies discussed a draft resolution on the National Assembly agencies’ reception and settlement of citizens’ claims and petitions. They all agreed on the need to issue the resolution but still argued about the conformity of the resolution to current legal documents. Phung Quoc Hien, Head of the National Assembly’s Finance and Budget Committee said: “To ensure that the resolution conforms to the legal system, we should revise the Constitution and the Law on the National Assembly’s operations. If we approve the resolution, it will be effective for just one year so we should continue to research. Only when there is a legal basis should this resolution be issued.”
Deputies also passed the Ordinance on amendments and supplements to the Ordinance on the management and control of weapons, explosives and auxiliary tools.
