(VOVworld) – The province of Phu Tho on Sunday, for the first time, hosted a competition of making Chung cake (green square sticky rice cake) and Day cake (white round sticky rice cake). The contest, organized by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, kicked off a series of activities observing the 2013 Hung King death anniversary.

The organizers selected 2 first prize winners and 2 second prize winners from 10 teams. These winners will make up a Phu Tho team to compete with teams from other provinces in a Chung cake and Day cake competition at the Hung Temple historical site.
