The event aims to promote cultural exchanges, share experience in the preservation and promotion of traditional culture, and strengthen understanding and solidarity among ethnic groups. Mr. Truong Cong Ngan is the Chairman of Tien Yen district’s People’s Committee: “We hope that the festival will help preserve and promote the cultural values of ethnic groups and boost the development of the northeastern region”.

Festival highlights include music performances, traditional costume shows, photo and painting exhibitions, boat racing, folk games, the introduction of attractions in the district, and the opening of a pedestrian street.

The festival will run until next Monday.
