(VOVworld) – The 2014 youth arts festival opened in Hanoi on Wednesday, displaying artworks made between 2011 and 2014 by young artists aged 18 to 35 from around the country.

The Arts Council selected 112 of 762 entries submitted by 100 young artists from 19 cities and provinces. The displayed artworks of different genres depict various aspects of contemporary Vietnamese life.

There will be one first prize, two second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 10 consolation prizes. The awards ceremony will be held on September 5.
