(VOVworld) – The Hanoi Youth Union and Hanoi Environment and Urban Company have launched a campaign entitled “2014 Youth Month” in response to 2014 Young Volunteer Year to encourage young people to contribute to ensuring the city’s order and civilization.


At the launching in Hanoi on Sunday, the organizer introduced 6 volunteer models to be implemented this year such as “the Volunteer Community”, “Green Office”, “Green school” and quick-response task forces of young people in urban traffic and order. Nguyen Khanh Binh, Vice Secretary of Hanoi Youth Union, said: "This year we’ll try our best to effectively implement voluntary activities, making them more professional and calling for social participation. In 2014, Hanoi Youth Union aims to build a volunteer society that is based on families, communities, and young volunteers. By doing so, we hope to mobilize all social resources for voluntary activities and help the young people to uphold their responsibilities for their country."
