(VOVworld) – The ASEAN traditional music festival begins in Thanh Hoa province on Saturday. Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Vuong Duy Bien said the festival aims to honor culture and folk music of ASEAN nations and promote their tourism attractions.

The festival is a venue for ASEAN people to better understand each other, enhance unity, and contribute to a more prosperous ASEAN community.

The festival will be held for 5 days with various performances including solo and dual singing, musical instruments, and drama. A workshop on the diversification of ASEAN traditional musical instruments will be held during the festival.
