The activities were held at many places in the city including Hang Ma, the main gate of Dong Xuan Market, along the pedestrian streets of Hang Dao, Dong Xuan and Hang Giay and around Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
The festival featured displays of traditional mid-autumn products and offered instruction on making several folk toys such as mid-autumn lanterns, ships, kites, or tò he, or toy figurine, a traditional toy for children in Vietnam. Nguyen Huu Kiem is from a kite club in Hong Ha commune, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi "On this occasion, I’d love to teach kids how to make a kite and fly it. Through this activity, Vietnamese children will understand how their grandparents made kites and flew it and inspire them to preserve this traditional game."
