(VOVworld) - The 2017 National Press Festival concluded on Sunday, reflecting the strong growth of Vietnamese press and providing a venue for journalists to share their expertise. The event drew 470 press agencies across Vietnam.

President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan told the closing ceremony that the Party and State encourage and protect journalists joining the fight against corruption, wastefulness, and social evils.

140 prizes were awarded to press agencies including Voice of Vietnam.
