In Ninh Thuan, people gathered at Po Klaong Garai and Po Rome towers to carry out rituals, offering their traditional food to the deities, and then sang and danced to traditional songs.
In Binh Thuan, people gathered at the relic of Po Sah Inu tower in Phan Thiet city to celebrate the festival with many Cham cultural rituals and activities. This year’s festival kicked off a series of activities to mark 25 years of Binh Thuan Tourism Day on October 24.
"The Kate festival and Thay Thim Palace Festival will add more color to a series of activities celebrating the 25th anniversary of Binh Thuan Tourism Day. These cultural festivals are expected to help preserve culture by promoting the local identities to visitors," said Nguyen Lan Ngoc, Deputy Director of Binh Thuan provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
