(VOVworld) – A seminar on increasing the quality of communications on sustainable poverty reduction until 2020 was held in Hai Phong city on Friday.

Localities will be required to reduce poverty sustainably, develop the economy, ensure social security, and increase the income of poor people. Vietnam targets reducing the poverty rate 1%-1.5% a year. Approximately 2.3 billion USD from the state budget will be used for the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction between 2016 and 2020.
