Among those returning were children under the age of 18, pregnant women, the elderly, workers who had  their contracts expired, visiting relatives, stranded travelers, and other people in special circumstances.

The Vietnamese Embassy in the Philippines has sent officials directly to the airport to assist citizens in completing the necessary procedures.

Immediately after a safe landing at Can Tho International Airport, all passengers and crew members underwent medical examinations and were transported to quarantine facilities.
