(VOVworld)- Ho Chi Minh City’s Youth Union on Sunday honored 25 young people from rural areas for making good in business. A commendation ceremony was held within the framework of the 2013 “Flower of Land” Festival for members of the Union who live in the outskirts of the city. During the Festival, Union members were consulted on State and Party farm policies as well as on job search and general economic knowledge. Huynh Thi Phuong Quynh, one of the young people who were honored, said: I’m very excited to be one of the Union members honored. This is a good motivation for me. I had a chance to exchange ideas and learn from other sectors so that in the future we can link together. I hope the Union and the Fund for support of Youth expand loans for Union members who haven’t got sufficient capital to complete their future projects.

On this occasion, Ho Chi Minh City’s Youth Union also awarded scholarships to disadvantaged children in 4 suburban communes.
