(VOVworld) – A campaign was launched in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday in response to the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and Vietnam’s Anti-drug Day

This year’s campaign will focus on improving the quality of activities of young propagandists and task forces for crime and social evils prevention.
Tran Hoang Khanh Van, in charge of defense, security, and residential areas affairs under the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, says “for the youths who are prone to committing a crime, we have plans for local youth unions to meet and talk with them to prevent them from delinquencies.
Meanwhile, for those who are undergoing detoxification at rehabilitation centers, she notes that “we’ll learn their aspirations and have activities to help them reintegrate into the community after the detoxification process.”
