2,500 foreign tourists arrive in Da Nang on first day of 2019
(VOVWORLD) - 2,500 foreign visitors mostly Chinese, carried by the cruise ships Costa Atlantica and Seabourn Ovation, docked at Tien Sa Port on the first day of 2019, before heading to Da Nang.
Huynh Duc Trung, head of the Travel Management Division of the Da Nang Tourism Department, said: “Tourists arriving by sea are expected to increase 21% this year to 110 cruise ships carrying 150 thousand people. More tourists know Da Nang since the successful APEC 2017 summit was held here. We will cooperate with Da Nang port to make it a primary tourism port.”
