2nd DPRK-USA summit: Pyongyang proposes complete shutdown of Yongbyon nuclear facilities
(VOVWORLD) - DPRK Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son-Hui told reporters Saturday that at the 2nd DPRK-USA summit, Chairman Kim Jong-un offered shuttering both plutonium and uranium facilities at Yongbyon under the observation of US experts.

At a press conference in Melia Hotel, Hanoi, she said the DPRK has made clear their view to dismantle the main nuclear facility at Yongbyon. She made the statement in response to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s comment that Pyongyang did not specify what they would do to dismantle the Yongbyon nuclear facility.
