3.1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine donated by US, Japan arrive in Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - A total of 3.1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine donated by the US and Japan reached Vietnam in the past few days.

The US Embassy in Vietnam announced two shipments of more than 2.6 million doses of Pfizer/BioNTech made available via COVAX, with one batch arriving in Hanoi late Sunday and another arriving in HCM City early Monday morning.
The delivery brought the US’s donation through COVAX to Vietnam to over 12.1 million doses, making it the biggest vaccine donor to Vietnam so far.
On Saturday, the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam said 500,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine have arrived in HCM City, bringing the total donation from Japan to more than 4 million doses.
To date, Vietnam has administered nearly 73 million doses.
